Low Cost Design Software for the Roland STIKA Range
 

With all CNC systems, the quality of the finished product is determined by the quality of the original design. Quality designs are more easily created on software written specifically for the machine. Stika Design is based on the widely used and well proven Design Tools - 2D Design. This simplified and modified version is one of the most friendly vector drawing packages available today. It is easy to use for both students and teachers alike!

For those who do not wish to design from scratch, Stika Design can also load commercial clip art. File formats imported include WMF, EMF, DXF, HPGL, Acorn Draw and Designer V3 files.

As well as making the drawing easy, Stika Design also makes outputting easy. The screen display accurately represents the vinyl, so that the image can easily be placed on it for maximum economy of vinyl use.

When set for cutter only, the output automatically ignores fills and just follows cutting lines. When set for pen plotting the output fills coloured areas if required, and automatically pauses for pen changes.

In order to avoid software theft, the software is encrypted with the name of the licensed user, typically the name of a person, or the name of an individual establishment.
