There are boxed sets of Brother’s own thread (see below), or users can purchase individual colours from the Madeira Classic no. 40 thread range. The Brother lower thread should be used in the Innov-is range of machines. |

MADEIRA UPPER THREADS
Madeira manufacture a range of threads suitable for use with the POEM. The snag is, they are supplied on large bobbins that do not fit the POEM. Therefore the thread has to be re-wound onto spent POEM bobbins. There is no facility on the machines to re-wind the bobbins, but only a little ingenuity is required to wind on a bobbin using a small electric motor / PCB drilling machine, etc.
Madeira Classic no. 60 is available in a multitude of colours and is supplied in a similar weight to PA020, the thread supplied with the POEM 500. |

These gemstones have a flat back with a layer of glue to allow them to be heat applied to fabric using an iron or heat press. They are made from genuine Swarvoski crystal which gives them a wonderful quality and sparkle.
Use 2D Design and a knife cutter or miller/router to design and cut out a template to position the gemstones.
Heat applied gemstones are available in 3mm diameter stones.
