The Ash Manor / TechSoft partnership got off to a flying start in the Summer Term with a series of popular and well-attended courses. To build on this we are delighted to be able to offer the following programme for 2007 – 2008. If you think we are missing something here then please let us know – responding to teachers needs is what the partnership is all about. If the demand is there and time can be found then we will run it, just drop an e-mail to Tim Elderton who runs the courses.
Among the technologies available at the Centre are;
Medium and large-scale 2D and 3D milling and routing.
Laser cutting and engraving.
3D Rapid-prototyping using FDM technology.
Laser image transfer.
CNC knife-cutting for applied graphics and packaging/sticker production using optical print alignment techniques.
Ash Manor School is close to the A331 Blackwater Valley Link road which gives direct access to M3 J4 at Farnborough and the A31 Hogs Back with links to the A3(M) and the M25 at J10.
