What is the Innov-is range?
The Innov-is range, from Brother, comprises five computerised embroidery machines which all offer exceptional quality at a low price. All, apart from the 700EII, also have conventional sewing capability.

What about software?
All the embroidery machines in the range are compatible with Brother’s PE-DESIGN LITE and PE-DESIGN 7 software, thus allowing students to create their own designs on a PC. All the machines have memory card slots to transfer designs onto the machine, whilst the higher specification models also have USB ports for direct connection to a PC.

Why buy an Innov-is?
Every textile department should have some form of computerised embroidery, and the Innov-is range delivers this in an affordable and user friendly product. Your Innov-is embroidery machine (excluding Innov-is 700EII) can also double up as a computerised sewing machine giving you two machines for the price of one.

A compact and exceptionally well priced machine that combines sewing and embroidery. Although it is the lowest cost machine in the range, the Innov-is 500 is still a very capable and versatile machine from a trusted manufacturer. If you have a tight budget, but don’t want to compromise on quality, or if you are considering multiple units, the Innov-is 500 may well be at the top of your list.

A dedicated embroidery machine, ideal for those on a budget. Although the Innov-is 700EII has no sewing capability, it has nearly two and a half times the embroidery area of the Innov-is 500 and almost twice as many built-in embroidery designs. So if you are purely looking for high quality embroidery on a budget, the Innov-is 700EII is probably the machine for you.

The Innov-is 1200 is based on the Innov-is 700EII, but has one big advantage over its lower priced sibling - the Innov-is 1200 is a dual machine with both sewing and embroidery capability. With a larger embroidery area and nearly twice the number of built-in embroidery designs as the Innov-is 500, the Innov-is 1200 offers exceptional value for money.

A superb all-rounder with extensive features, the Innov-is 1500D is a dual function machine which is definitely worth stretching the budget for. It is faster, and has a larger embroidery area than the Innov-is 1200. The machine also comes packed with built-in embroidery designs, over half of which are licensed Disney designs.

Two USB ports allow both connection to a PC and to other USB devices, such as a memory stick. The Innov-is 4000D even has a multi colour touch screen for the full interactive experience.
